why is there such cruelty in the world?
I am shocked and deeply saddened by the recent horrific details about the death of Christopher Barrios. I am beyond sick to my stomach. How can people be so cruel and sick. His perpetrators had previous offenses, how can we allow people like this back on the streets? What can I do to get our government to protect our children?
Unfortunately these people were convicted of child molestation and only received probation in the past. So many of these cases show that the abductors have a criminal record but somehow get off with just probation or light sentence. If it were up to me one strike and your out of society would be a much more suitable punishment.
Here is what you can do. Report anyone who you think maybe a predator. Watch your kids and the kids in your neighborhood. Know where your kids are and who they are around. Trust no one! You cannot rely on the system to make it a safer place for you to live. You have to protect your kids with your life and as a parent I am saddened to say I am afraid to let my kids play at the park without my supervision, ride a bike off the block or run around carefree like a kid should. These are the times we live in and we have to look out for one another.
These white trash mother f*ckers should have been in prison. I am sure there are other victims but the parents did not report it. I hope these 4 people just get shot on the way into the court house. Some judge will let the guy who hid the body and the woman involved who by the way masturbated to the torture and tried to hide evidence off on probation and the sickos who raped and killed the boy will get 5 years and probation. We can pay billions in taxes but when it comes down to protecting our children and making a more stable justice system for taking these scumbags off the street, there just never seems to be enough funding. Ever.
