Why do Islamic women wear hijabs that cover the whole face?
It does not say in the Qur'an that you should cover your whole face. It says you should cover your whole body but leave your face and hands exposed?
because in the quran, the women are recommended to dress modest, NEVER does it say WOMEN MUST wear headscarf or cover their face.. people interrprete 'modest' in different ways... and women are NOT forced to wear, except in Afghansthan with the talaban before who thought they were good muslims but they go against Islam...
